Your New Job

We are currently looking for two support assistants for one of our LSS housing facilities in Torvalla. Working hours include day, evening, on-call, and weekend shifts. You will work in a flexible working time model which means you have the opportunity to influence your scheduling.

The job involves supporting individuals in and outside their homes based on their individual needs. The goal is to create good conditions for an independent life through guidance and support in society, always with a professional approach and attitude.

Common Tasks

As a support assistant within the disability sector, you focus on the citizen and work with support and service in the citizen's own home. Through a pedagogical and individualized approach characterized by KASAM (comprehensibility, manageability, and meaningfulness), you strengthen the individual regarding housing, leisure, and employment. You will work in a team with engaged colleagues.

The tasks are varied and require you as an employee to plan and execute multiple tasks during your shift, as citizens have their own routines and support needs. The work also includes social documentation in our record-keeping system, Viva. The assignment also includes being a contact person, which means you are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on care, support, and service, always with a habilitative approach.

Your Competence

Requirements

• Driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Trained nurse/support assistant or other equivalent education deemed suitable by the employer
• Experience with disabilities
• Experience in psychiatry with care interventions
• Experience in social work
• Experience in social documentation
